The above photo is a honey bee swarm that hung out in my backyard on a cedar redwood tree branch for about 20 hours. A truly spectacular sight.
I love to garden. I garden organically - flowers, seasonal vegetables and herbs, shrubs, and fruit and nut trees - and try to create various garden areas that are bird, bee, butterfly, and dog friendly. I am an avid composter, and use recycled water and reclaimed grey water when possible to water my gardens. My plantings change throughout the year, and I do love my roses. These photos provide a peek into some of my past garden adventures.
